Sizing and Fit
Our standard-size outfits typically accommodate up to a
44-inch bust and
40-inch waist. However, some of our plus-size outfits are available in sizes up to a
64-inch bust and
60-inch waist. If your measurements are larger, please contact us at
support@dressofindia.com and we'll be happy to help you find an outfit that's a great fit.
We want to make sure you have the best fit possible, but please keep in mind that our clothes are designed for an average height of around 5'3". Since every body is beautifully unique, standard sizes are made with a general fit in mind and may not conform to your exact body measurements. Please allow for a variation of 0.5 to 1 inch in the final measurements of your outfit.
Custom Stitching
We can also create custom-stitched outfits based on the measurements you provide. Once you submit your measurements, your order is immediately sent to be stitched, so we are unable to make any changes to the sizes.
As our tailors are not able to take your body measurements in person, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit, and you may need to make minor alterations. Please note that we are not responsible for any alteration costs.
Outfit Details
- Since most of our products are hand-stitched, you may notice slight irregularities in the stitching lines.
- Some accessories, like tassels (latkans), may have slight design variations based on current market availability.
- We often include extra fabric inside the top, when available, so you can easily enlarge it later.
- Blouses that come with a saree do not have a back or front opening.
- The thread used for stitching may be a slightly different color than the fabric.
- Unless you request it before placing your order, our outfits do not include a zipper on the back or side.
- The interlocking inside is always done with white thread.
- The length of the dupatta (scarf) for all outfits is typically between 2 and 2.2 meters.
